Hamilton Aquatics Terms and Conditions

The following information will be beneficial to you in order to help us keep everyone on poolside safe and that you/your child get the most out of your/their swimming lessons or training.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I HEREBY AGREE to the terms and conditions and give consent to all people added to my Hamilton Bay account in becoming a member of Hamilton Aquatics, in association with Hamilton Aquatics Swimming Training LLC, Hamilton Aquatics and event & sports management WLL (“Hamilton Aquatics”) henceforward. During the membership period, I consent to those registered on my account to participate in activities and events organised or attended by Hamilton Aquatics.

TERM OF OPERATION

I understand that Hamilton Aquatics run through all public and school holidays within the term dates. Any exceptions to this will be communicated in advance. I understand that Hamilton Aquatics policy is that catch-up lessons will only be offered when lessons have had to be cancelled by Hamilton Aquatics, and not for holidays, short-term sickness, or any other after-school activities. In the event of long-term sickness or injury I will inform Hamilton Aquatics immediately and provide a valid medical certificate in order to receive a credit note. Failure to do so may result in a reduction in the value of credit note offered or a reduction in number of the catch-up classes offered.

LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS

I understand that no responsibility will be accepted by Hamilton Aquatics for loss or damage to the property or valuables of the registered swimmers on my account, even if such items are left in the lockers provided.

FEES AND CREDIT NOTES

I understand that Hamilton Aquatics offer catch up or credit notes for circumstances outlined below;
  • If Hamilton Aquatics cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. coach illness, facility repairs, pool hygiene issues.
  • Medical issues persistent for three consecutive sessions or more and that is supported by a valid doctor’s certificate.
A catch-up lesson must be booked and utilised within the current term. Any catch-up lessons not taken during the term will be expired.

Credit sessions will be valid for 6 months only, from the date of issue, after which if not redeemed they will be expired.

In exceptional circumstances such as relocation outside of the country, and medical circumstances in which a valid doctor’s certificate must be provided, a refund may be awarded at the discretion of the Managing Director. I understand that the fees I am paying comprise 30% administration and business costs and 70% services fee. In the event of a refund being awarded, only the tuition fee will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for the affected sessions.

I understand that if I make payment by cheque, and this cheque is returned by the bank for any reason, there will be an administrative charge of AED 100 to be made to Hamilton Aquatics Swimming Training LLC (customers in UAE) or QAR 100 to be made to Hamilton Aquatics and event & sports management WLL (customers in Qatar).

CHANGE OF LEVEL DURING THE TERM

If a swimmer moves within the Learn to Swim programme to a higher level which has a higher price due to a change in length of the lesson, there will be no corresponding changes to the fee already paid for that term unless additional lessons are added.

If however, a swimmer from the Learn to Swim programme moves to the squads programme within a term then a credit note will be raised for the remaining Learn to Swim lessons and used against the new pro-rata term fees for that squad, with the difference in amount being payable by the customer.
